Basic Info About Project:
Lovingly named “Riverdance,” this Newburyport Estate Garden was featured on the front cover of New England Home Magazine. In collaboration with Visionary Landscapes, Mara Landscape Design created a boastful seacoast masterpiece.
The client sought to have a floriferous showpiece that boaters would be inspired by while cruising the Merrimac. The client originally desired a white garden. But, ended up tempted by the cooling shades of blue paired with white. We added a bistro nook for a prime spot for bird watching, coffee breaks, and wine sipping.
The bistro nook was implemented as a raised bluestone full color patio. And we used a Boston Blend natural stone veneered wall. Junipers and arborvitaes provide a green backdrop to a blue and white floriferous blend of viburnum, hydrangea, salvia, lavender.
